Caleb Williams Week 15 Grade against the Vikings.
Lot of bad, some good, let's get into it.
Notes:
-I graded the whole game Caleb was in, this is due to the Vikings playing defense up until Tyson was subbed in. (On the last TD drive the Vikings showed a 7 man front 3 times, and blitz on half the downs.)
-3rd week in a row where we don't put up points in the first half, 2 early turnover on downs did not help. Yuck.
-The last two weeks Caleb's footwork and confidence has looked absolutely shot. A lot of "happy feet" and double clutching, taking as many hits and sacks surely playing an issue. -Another concerning trend which is probably is related, this marks 3 weeks running Caleb's TTT has been over 3 seconds (3.14), he averaged around 2.6 the previous 3 starts.
-1 turn over worthy play (throw to Rome that Harrison Smith broke on). Blindside fumble was on LT, 1.80 TTT on that play, disgusting.
-4 drops, 3 by Keenan and 1 by Rome, which was a touchdown throw. 73.3% Adj. Comp. %
-2 Elite throws, the sideline throw to Allen on a full sprint, and the TD drop by Rome. Flashes like this need to more often, granted, this shit show of a season hasn't helped, but denying this kid has talent is insane.
-286 throws and counting without a pick, dating back 8 straight starts, so there's that.
This season needs to end. For the full season of tracking, please click here.
