Did Caleb Williams have his issues in 2024?

There's no denying it. His deep ball was very lacking, he took bad sacks (despite leading the league in throwaways) and held on to the ball the 4th longest in the league. Despite those issues, along with an awful offensive scheme, instability and subpar play from the OL, and ineffective coaching that reportedly did not watch film with him, he did the following: - Set the franchise record for all purpose yards for a QB.

- Threw the second most TD's from a Bears QB's since 2015 (Trubisky, 24 in 2018), good for 12th all time for a Bears QB.

- Most passing yards from a Bears QB since 2015, and the 5th most all time for a Bears QB.

- Set the Bears rookie marks for Completions, Yards, Touchdowns, and Passer Rating. - Set the NFL rookie mark and franchise all time mark for pass attempts without an interception. - The lowest INT % for a Bears QB ALL TIME. (minimum 8 starts)

- Threw for 1,500 yards, 9 TD's, 0 INT while completing 64.5% of his passes for a 98.5 passer rating against the NFC North, all teams who had top 10 defenses.

- Had a 112.1 Passer Rating and 0 Interceptions over the middle intermediate of the field (10-19 yards). This is important because rookie QB's generally struggle over the intermediate middle the most in the NFL, due to the change in hashes from the NCAA to the NFL.

Pairing Caleb with one of the games best offensive minds in Ben Johnson is going to unlock this kid to Quarterbacking levels we probably have never seen in franchise history.
