It's good to see Jayden Daniels back at it. After missing two weeks with a knee injury, Daniels made a triumphant return against the Chargers, leading the Commanders to a convincing 27-10 victory in Los Angeles. Jayden played extremely clean football, registering 0 poor plays on the afternoon, and just 1 play graded about "Below Average". On the flip side, he had 2 "Elite" plays, including a fantastic touchdown throw to ice the game in the 4th Quarter.

Abridged Breakdown
This game was pretty unnoteworthy until the roughing the punter call near the end of the 2nd quarter. The game flipped from the Chargers returning a punt for a touchdown, to Jayden immediately hitting Luke McCaffrey deep down the middle for 50 yards. From this point on it really seemed like the game was all Washington, Jayden Daniels, and the offense moving the ball well.
As mentioned in the opening, no poor plays on the afternoon, his worst score on the afternoon came on a slightly overthrown deep ball.
Despite missing Khalil Mack, the Chargers managed a near 40% (38.24%) pressure rate, but Jayden's pocket awareness and mobility, along with getting the ball out quickly neutralized this.
I really liked that touchdown throw the put the game away, fading back from the pocket buying time for Samuel to get open in the back corner of the endzone, lofting a ball with good anticipation and great placement while drifting backwards, beautiful stuff.
1.55/3.15/4.70 give Jayden a solid "Great" game, and a fantastic bounce back from what may have been one of his worst starts of his career in week 2 against the Packers. All this while coming back from a knee injury. Up next for Jayden is the Chicago Bears and a show do with fellow 2nd year QB Caleb Williams.
