In many ways this game paralleled the Packers week 1 victory against the Lions, but in reverse. The Browns this time were the ones controlling the line of scrimmage, and while the pressure rate was a bit low, mainly due to the Packers focusing on quick throws, they did get to Love plenty, sacking him 5 times in a game where Love only attempted 1 throw beyond 10 yards. And his grades reflect that, as he scored just 1 positive play over "Above Average" on the afternoon. He also threw a bad pick late that late the Browns back into the game. So how does it all shake down? Let's take a look at the breakdown.

Breakdown
After a hot start out of the gates the last 2 weeks, Jordan Love and the Packers offense were cooled down by a dominant Browns front 4. The game plan early was pretty obvious, get the ball out of Jordan's hands to avoid Myles Garrett and company. Love had just a 2.35s TTT on the afternoon, and a aDOT of just 1.7 yards. The Myles effect is real.
As mentioned there was just 1 throw all afternoon that travelled over 10 yards for the Packers, and that happened to be a very nicely placed fade route to rookie 1st round pick Matthew Golden. it looks like Golden had room to run up the sideline and make a house call with the throw but he inexplicably heads out of bounds. This was Love's only big time thrown on the afternoon.
His only other positive grading play outside of "Average" plays was he 3 yard touchdown to 3rd TE John FitzPatrick. A play where Jordan rolled out of the pocket, bought some time and found FitzPatrick open in a soft zone. The play gets bumped up to Above Average for exactly that, extending a dead play and turning it into points.
Jordan missed on a potential huge chunk play in the 4th Quarter, it was a simple throw to the flat to Josh Jacobs who had a blocker drifting out in front of him and just 1 defender ahead of him. Outside of that lone defender the closest Brown to Jacobs is 20 yards away. Love unfortunately sails the throw over Jacobs head, giving he not shot to make a play. I play that was graded "Poor".
He then turns around and throws what was to be a backbreaking interception. On a 3rd and 3 and a chance to ice the game with a good drive, Love stares down his receiver Wicks on a simple slant route, grant Delpit is playing a robber zone and is reading Love's eyes the whole way. He jumps the route, on an underthrown ball no less, and picks it off. This lead to the game tying touchdown a few minutes later.
Week 3 marks Love's worst start on the season. He scored a -1.65/-1.50/-3.15 charting as middle level "bad" game. After playing so consistently, the Cleveland Browns defense, and some of his own mistakes, cost him dearly, as the Browns would go on to upset the Packers 13-10.
