C. J. Stroud Week 11 grade against the Cowboys.

This is my first game grading C. J. so I don't have complete data on him, so some of my notes in this Tweet will be relying commonly known things, and extrapolation from the data on this game. On to the notes: -The thing that popped out most was Stroud's time to throw, charted at just 2.39s, well under his 2.97s season average. And this is a fantastic thing to keep Stroud healthy and upright. It is well known the Houston OLine is struggling, Stroud being the second most sacked QB, a great way to combat that is getting rid of the ball quick.

-His lone blemish was on a poor throw that was placed poorly by Stroud. He now has 2 more interceptions on the season than he had all of last. Sophomore struggles with accuracy? I may know a bit more once I get more tape in.

-Stroud had a efficient game against the Cowboys overall, and his +4.25 score would score him a good game overall.

-Nico Collins makes Stroud looks like a different QB, having a go to option in the offense and one he trusts, especially like Nico who can house it at any time (first play from scrimmage, for example.)

-The preseason discourse about the Texans overpaying for Mixon has been squashed easily, Mixon has been the heart of the offense despite missing time to injury. For the full season of tracking, please click here.
